visiting from 6-word Saturday. Sleepovers! So much fun for the kids, but it is exhausting for the parents! Good for you for allowing them though!! I'd say go and get a triple shot coffee at Starbucks to help make it through the day!
My daughter once told me that they weren't sleepovers - the whole point of having friends to stay overnight was to be awake! So I christened them awake-overs after that!
I only remember being the child in that equation and I'm sure nobody slept that night. Ever. It was all about staying up as late as possible and constant visits from parents to QUIET DOWN!!!
Ditto - had my ten week old grandson sleepover last night and I was exhausted today. Not because he woke me up, he in fact slept eight hours straight.
ReplyDeleteI woke up about 5 times though because I was worried I wouldn't hear him. Stupid huh?
I have found the most effective caffeine delivery system is an IV drip....
ReplyDeleteMaybe a nap, later this morning, will help?
Believe me, I can feel your exhaustion!

ReplyDeletenot quite sure why they're called sleep overs for kids = do they sleep?
ReplyDeletein a sick way i'm looking forward to when my daughter has sleepovers, there really is nothing more fun than the laughter of tween girls! :D
ReplyDeleteI could never live on one cup of coffee a day....especially after a sleepover!...pretty much any sleepover...!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Brenda, why are they called sleepovers?
ReplyDeleteI love the picture, by the way.
Have lots of coffee, and a great day.
